This role is a pivotal opportunity within a strategically expanding Biopharma Investment Banking team, directly contributing to the strategic growth and capital market activities of leading public and private companies in the sector.

• Mission: Lead transaction execution and deliver strategic and financial advice to prominent Biopharma companies, facilitating their growth and capital market initiatives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relations: Serve as a primary contact for select clients, building impactful relationships and supporting client coverage strategies.
• Material Creation: Develop compelling marketing and client materials for various company sale and financing assignments.
• Transaction Oversight: Lead and support the execution of M&A, equity, equity-linked, and debt transactions.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Prepare comprehensive strategic analyses, detailed company valuations, and intricate financial models.
• Business Growth: Contribute to new business development initiatives, assuming increasing responsibilities over time.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Senior level professional requiring extensive investment banking experience with a deep understanding of the healthcare, biotechnology, or biopharma sector.
• Experience: At least 6 years of investment banking experience, or 3+ years with an MBA, including significant M&A transaction leadership, client relationship management, and mentorship of junior bankers.
• Skills: Expertise in business writing for presentations and memorandums, strong accounting knowledge, comprehensive M&A deal modeling, and a high level of initiative with strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: An advanced degree in life sciences such as an MD, PharmD, or PhD.
