Intern – Sales Operations | Deutsche Börse Group

The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Deutsche Börse Group, located in Chicago, IL. Deutsche Börse Group operates a global marketplace for capital markets, offering an excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and gain practical experience. This role is crucial as Sales Operations forms the backbone of the Eurex Americas Sales team, directly supporting efforts to promote trading and clearing services. The intern will contribute to building strong client relationships and expanding the company’s services to enhance its role as a leading provider in Europe.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Reporting: Generate and distribute regular sales reports, providing actionable insights to the sales team to inform strategy.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate product performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Data Management: Track sales activity, meticulously maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and ensure the highest data quality.
• Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators and strategic initiatives.
• Operational Support: Provide central support to the sales team by assisting with administrative tasks, processing sales leads, and organizing sales events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled at a state-recognized US-university throughout the internship period, with a study focus in economics, business, finance, or related fields. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Ideal candidates will have gained some practical experience in finance or data analysis.
• Skills: Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, a strong affinity for numbers, strong analytical skills, and a cooperative mindset with the ability to integrate quickly into a team.
• Bonus: Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI, or programming skills in Python, SQL, or VBA are a plus.
