• Mission: This individual is responsible for the execution and integration of Engineering homeroom operations, including engineering estimating, strategy, and resource planning initiatives, to meet current and future program execution needs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facilitate Meetings: Drive and facilitate senior leadership meetings, ensuring resulting actions are clearly defined and associated deliverables are achieved.
• Manage HR Operations: Implement and ensure common people processes across Engineering teams, overseeing staffing fulfillment, redeployment, and release processes, while reporting on status and projections.
• Strategic Coordination: Coordinate effectively with homeroom, program, and other functional counterparts to align and achieve the Engineering annual operating plan and long-range organizational goals.
• Talent Development: Provide specific guidance on technical training and skills development initiatives within Engineering, coordinating broader efforts across the division to influence desired outcomes.
• Reporting & Approvals: Coordinate proposal functional reviews and approval sign-offs by the VP Strike Engineering and Chief Engineers, and regularly author and deliver weekly and monthly status reports to sector and division leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline. This role may be filled as an Associate Engineer (Level 1) or an Engineer (Level 2), indicating an early to mid-career level opportunity.
• Experience: Minimum 0 years (Associate Engineer) or 2 years (Engineer) of related professional or military experience in engineering or project/program operations. Required experience includes developing and managing processes across large organizations.
• Skills: Active U.S. government Secret clearance (or higher) granted or renewed within the last 6 years or under continuous evaluation; ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR); proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and SharePoint; solid organizational abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Knowledge and experience with Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) resource management processes (staffing, redeployment, and release processes); previous experience directly supporting broad initiatives led by a Vice President or Director; excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside proven project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills.
