The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Amazon MGM Studios, located in Miami, FL. Amazon MGM Studios is a division of Amazon dedicated to developing, producing, and licensing a wide range of captivating series and movies for a global audience on Prime Video. This Legal Assistant position is crucial for supporting the LatAm Legal team, directly enabling the content development, production, and licensing of titles specifically for Latin American audiences. You will play a key role in bringing incredible stories to life, helping ensure projects like Mentiras (Mexico) and Menem (Argentina) reach viewers across the region.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the LatAm Legal team, including managing calendars and coordinating meetings across various time zones.
• Contract Management: Support the entire contract lifecycle, utilizing tools like Contract Central and DocuSign for intake, routing, tracking execution status, and coordinating signatures.
• Document Assistance: Assist attorneys with the preparation and review of legal documents, templates, and agreements, while also coordinating with outside counsel on drafting, revisions, and production-related notes.
• Resource Management: Maintain and enhance legal team resources, such as trackers, SharePoint sites, playbooks, and standard operating procedures, to improve team efficiency.
• Outside Counsel Operations: Support the management of outside counsel, which includes onboarding new firms, reviewing invoices, addressing billing inquiries, tracking budgets, and creating new matters.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. 1+ years of legal experience.
• Experience: 1+ years of professional or military experience.
• Skills: Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish; Experience with AI/ML technologies.
• Bonus: Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a deadline-driven environment; Experience in entertainment, media, or content production legal environments; Experience with contract management systems, legal billing tools, or matter management platforms; Fluent language proficiency in Portuguese (written and verbal).
