What You’ll Actually Do
• Transactions: Work on live M&A and capital markets transactions spanning P&C, life, reinsurance, and broking.
• Financial Analysis: Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Research: Conduct sector and company research to support business development efforts.
• Presentations: Contribute to pitch materials and client presentations across the insurance coverage universe.
• Client Engagement: Have direct exposure to senior bankers and clients from day one, with meaningful responsibility across all stages of deal execution.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Investment Banking, with a preference for Financial Institutions Group (FIG) or insurance domain knowledge.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of investment banking experience.
• Skills: Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to insurance sector transactions; coverage or execution experience in FIG or insurance.
