What You’ll Actually Do
• Contract Management: Support legal counsel in managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring adherence to internal standards and legal requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Track, analyze, and report on relevant regulatory updates across areas like labor, immigration, tariffs, data privacy, and anti-corruption.
• Compliance Program Development: Develop, implement, and manage compliance training programs, assist with the Code of Conduct, and administer whistleblower mechanisms.
• Audit & Risk Support: Assist with internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Legal Coordination: Serve as a liaison between different MOBIS legal departments to ensure consistent legal practices and documentation across multiple entities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Individual contributor with supervisory duties, possessing a Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-7 years in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles, including experience in policy development and managing training programs.
• Skills: Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., FCPA, GDPR, labor and employment laws) and regulatory reporting; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to communicate clearly and explain legal issues to all levels of management; strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: Paralegal Certificate or professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP); knowledge of manufacturing facility and/or warehouse operations and regulations; experience in risk assessment and internal audit processes.
