Compliance Paralegal | WME Group

The Tone:
This is a role at WME Group, supporting the legal team’s critical compliance and privacy functions. The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Pay: $56250–$75000 yearly
• Team: Part of the legal department, working collaboratively with lawyers and other paralegals.
• Mission: To independently manage a diverse workload covering compliance and privacy operations, alongside providing essential administrative and legal support to the wider legal team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage a diverse personal workload, demonstrating flexibility and independent thought, while seamlessly collaborating with lawyers as required on various legal matters.
• Support comprehensive compliance efforts by assisting with the drafting and reviewing of policy documents, analyzing internal correspondence, running diligence reports on potential customers and vendors, and coordinating training sessions with business units and external counsel.
• Coordinate critical privacy operations, including managing data subject requests, collaborating with stakeholders on privacy assessments, inventorying business processes, and providing additional support as necessary to ensure data protection standards are met.
• Provide essential administrative and general legal support, which includes handling invoices, efficiently scheduling both internal and external meetings, and performing various general document management tasks.
• Actively contribute to the wider legal team by offering assistance to other paralegals or lawyers when capacity allows, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
