What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare legal documents: Prepare, edit, and format complex legal documents with accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage case materials: Manage binders and case materials from initial organization through completion.
• File pleadings: Prepare pleadings and supporting materials for filing, meticulously performing cite checking and creating Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents.
• Support legal proceedings: Assist actively in the comprehensive preparation for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Coordinate logistics and trial materials: Arrange necessary logistics such as court reporters and conference rooms, and organize/transport trial exhibits and supporting materials for court.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 3–5 years of related experience as a Legal Assistant. Ideal candidates will possess core domain knowledge in commercial litigation, legal document preparation, and established citation standards.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within commercial litigation.
• Skills: Expert-level typing speed and accuracy; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (especially Word) for complex legal document formatting; Proficient use of Westlaw for legal research and cite verification; Strong understanding and application of Bluebook citation rules; Excellent organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Bonus: Notary Public certification.
