Greenspoon Marder is a legal firm specializing in various practice areas, seeking a skilled Collections Paralegal to support its default servicing and collections work. This role is crucial for managing the full lifecycle of collection cases, ensuring efficient progression from pre-litigation to judgment enforcement and recovery, and maintaining client communication and case organization.

• Mission: Support default servicing, foreclosure, and post-judgment collections work from pre-litigation demand through judgment enforcement and recovery.
• Tech Stack: WORD, EXCEL, I-Manage, invoice management/BKFS, client system

What You’ll Actually Do
• Pleadings & Correspondence: Prepare correspondence and pleadings for review by the attorney.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients using their respective client systems.
• Case Preparation: Prepare for hearings and calendar court and discovery deadlines.
• Judgment Enforcement: Prepare judgments/enforcement documents, writs, and assist in garnishment.
• File Management: Maintain file records and prepare client updates and status reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Collections paralegal with comprehensive knowledge of default servicing, foreclosure, and post-judgment collections work.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience is preferred; demonstrated experience drafting demand letters, notices of default, and pre-suit compliance documents.
• Skills: Proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, I-Manage, document management, and time entry systems; exceptional organizational and file management skills; ability to handle confidential client information professionally; professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to manage in high-pressure situations.
• Bonus: Availability for overtime when needed.
