Supply Chain Executive – WB | Beam Suntory

The Tone:

• Mission: Ensure smooth, cost-effective, and reliable supply chain and logistics operations by driving production planning, dispatch execution, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Production Planning & Execution: Drive comprehensive production planning, scheduling, and dispatch execution using SAP/APO and IBP-driven planning, ensuring alignment from CY+1 pickup plans to weekly production orders and daily dispatches. This includes managing the supply of innovation packs (VAP and LE packs) to markets as per marketing requirements.
• Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key operational link between commercial, plant, purchase, logistics, quality, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. This also involves permits planning, identifying demand gaps, coordinating EVC collection from sales teams, and acting as the primary interface for managing quality-related consumer complaints.
• Resource & Inventory Optimization: Proactively monitor raw material availability against production requirements and promptly identify and resolve concerns related to capacity or raw material shortages. Manage monthly bulk tanks ordering, liaise for timely customs clearances, and maintain finished goods inventory across plants, depots, and corporations in line with established targets.
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Prepare comprehensive monthly and weekly KPI dashboards and presentations, leading weekly S&OE processes and monthly SC&L updates to leadership. Drive daily operations meetings to share updates, risks, and opportunities, ensuring the delivery of key Supply Chain KPIs (OTIF, CFR, production adherence, MOQ fulfilment) and Logistics KPIs (vehicle utilization, detentions/demurrages), along with cost and efficiency analysis.
• System & Risk Management: Create and maintain essential master data in SAP and APO. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous automation within day-to-day working to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency. Actively identify and communicate supply chain risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders, contributing to proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate/MBA with core domain knowledge in supply chain, logistics operations, and production planning.
• Experience: 6-7 years of experience with mandatory exposure to SAP and a plant environment.
• Skills: Production planning, scheduling, MS-Office proficiency, SAP expertise.
• Bonus: Exposure to APO/HANA is an advantage, alongside an openness to taking up new challenges.
