Legal Assistant | Zaxbys

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the legal department, providing a wide range of administrative duties for the Office of Chief Legal Officer.
• Document & Information Management: Receive, review, and organize incoming correspondence, maintaining comprehensive filing systems for both paper and electronic legal files.
• Scheduling & Communication: Manage and maintain schedules and calendars, answer telephone calls, and respond to routine requests while determining appropriate escalation for urgent matters.
• Financial & Travel Coordination: Assist with accounting and billing processes by maintaining the legal invoice tracker and preparing invoices, along with coordinating travel arrangements as needed.
• Contract & Compliance Handling: Manage the contracts email account, process requests for contract copies, assist with archiving and reporting contract files, and initiate the processing of company service of process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a law firm or the legal field, and/or providing high-level executive support.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), outstanding interpersonal skills, extremely detail-oriented, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Current Notary Public certification (or willing to complete upon hire), and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
