What You’ll Actually Do
• Consulting: Provide financial consulting and strategic support to Corporate Finance, including preparing comprehensive financial packages and presentations for senior management.
• Analysis: Conduct detailed business and data analysis, including the evaluation of financial performance across all divisions, financial statements, budget versus actuals, business plan analytics, cash flow analysis, and investment return (IRR) evaluations.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reporting for all divisions and ad-hoc financial reports by gathering, sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data as requested.
• Process Improvement: Lead process reviews and improvement initiatives for key finance, business planning, and related operational processes to identify enhancements, increase efficiency, and develop thorough documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with established financial and accounting policies, internal control procedures, and company practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required to ensure foundational knowledge in financial principles and practices.
• Experience: 2-4 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or accounting, demonstrating a track record of increasing responsibility and capability.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with a heavy focus on Microsoft Excel, a solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), the ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements, and proficiency in various other software and accounting systems.
• Bonus: Prior homebuilding accounting experience or public accounting experience gained from a large-sized accounting firm.
