Summer 2027 Intern – Americas Division | Simon-Kucher
The Tone:
This is an internship at Simon-Kucher, located in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York, or San Francisco. • Mission: Support clients in optimizing revenue models, improving profitability, and executing growth strategies through commercial strategy, pricing, and sales expertise.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Growth Strategies: Support clients in creating and implementing go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales effectiveness initiatives to identify new revenue opportunities and competitive advantages.
• Optimize Pricing: Analyze pricing data, customer needs, and market trends to develop and optimize pricing structures, discounting models, and value-based strategies that maximize profitability and drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Conduct Data Analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative research, including financial modeling, customer segmentation, and pricing simulations, to generate data-driven insights that guide business decisions.
• Present Actionable Recommendations: Craft compelling presentations and reports to simplify complex data, participate in client workshops, and engage directly with client teams to ensure practical recommendations are successfully implemented.
• Contribute to Firm Development: Drive impact beyond client work by contributing to internal capability-building efforts and supporting key business development initiatives within the firm.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate or Master’s student expected to graduate between May and June 2028, pursuing a degree in business, statistics, economics, marketing, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0 years of professional work experience. Ability to intern for 9 weeks from June 7 to August 6, 2027, with unrestricted U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is not offered.
• Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills for working with pricing models, sales data, and financial metrics; strategic thinking; excellent problem-solving abilities; strong communication and presentation skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytics tools; consulting club or industry group experience.
