Paralegal – Civil Defense Litigation | NPAworldwide

The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role placed by NPAworldwide. This position is critical for managing civil litigation cases from their start to their conclusion, providing essential support to attorneys. The paralegal will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth progression of legal proceedings, utilizing specialized legal technologies and court filing systems. This role directly contributes to the effective handling of civil defense matters within the legal system.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Attorney Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys on various legal matters.
• Technology Utilization: Utilize litigation technology for case handling.
• Filing Management: Utilize court filing systems for official submissions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced paralegal professional with a background in civil litigation cases.
• Experience: Proficiency with CM/ECF filing (Federal and State) and experience with billing and ABA task codes. Experience with a litigation document management system is also required.
• Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities, and effective communication and writing skills.
