This Litigation Paralegal position is critical for ensuring the efficient operation and success of the Labor & Employment practice, directly supporting attorneys and contributing to the firm’s overall mission. The role demands meticulous organization, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to administrative and legal tasks.

• Mission: This person ensures seamless administrative and litigation support for the firm’s Labor & Employment attorneys.
• Tech Stack: Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, iManage
What You’ll Actually Do
• Attorney Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to 4-5 attorneys, including precise calendaring, document preparation, and document review.
• Court Filings: Manage all aspects of court filing in both state and federal courts, adhering strictly to court protocols and deadlines.
• Legal Research: Conduct targeted legal research using Westlaw to gather necessary information for case development and attorney preparation.
• Communication & Tracking: Handle court and client communication professionally, while accurately tracking matters and providing timely reminders to attorneys.
• Collaborative Support: Offer support to other attorneys and paralegals across the firm as needed, fostering a cooperative working environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Career. High School diploma or equivalent is required, coupled with an extensive knowledge of the court system, including filing procedures and protocols.
• Experience: 3-5 years of prior commercial litigation experience is essential, along with proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and document management systems such as iManage.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical, alongside being a highly skilled typist. The role also requires exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
