Paralegal | WASH MultiFamily Laundry Systems
The Tone:
This is a Paralegal role at WASH MultiFamily Laundry Systems. WASH provides laundry systems for multi-family properties. This role is essential for supporting the legal department’s comprehensive operations, ensuring smooth contract management, corporate compliance, and effective handling of insurance claims and litigation. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the company’s legal integrity and operational efficiency by managing critical legal workflows.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contract Management: Draft, review, track, and administer commercial agreements, ensuring accurate records of key dates, obligations, and renewal deadlines within the contract management system.
• Corporate Governance: Maintain precise corporate records, facilitate board meeting preparations by assembling materials and drafting minutes, and manage annual filings and state-level compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Insurance Claims Management: Coordinate the entire lifecycle of insurance claims across all lines of coverage, acting as the primary liaison, gathering comprehensive documentation, and tracking claim status with current disposition and reserve information.
• Litigation & Regulatory Support: Assist with critical litigation processes including implementing holds, document collection, e-discovery, maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating effectively with outside counsel.
• Legal Operations: Serve as an internal point of contact for routine legal inquiries, manage outside counsel invoices, develop essential legal templates and process documentation, and conduct preliminary legal research as directed by attorneys.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience: At least 3 years of paralegal experience, including a minimum of 1 year within an in-house legal department; strong proficiency with contract management systems and legal technology tools is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellent organizational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree, Notary public certification, or prior experience with entity management software such as CSC or CT Corporation.
