Paralegal II, General Liability | Zurich North America

What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Support: Provide comprehensive legal assistance to 2-3 attorneys on general liability litigation cases.
• Document Preparation: Draft legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documents as directed by attorneys.
• Research & Discovery: Conduct legal and documentary research, prepare discovery requests, and formulate responses.
• Case Management: Monitor case schedules and filing deadlines, organize, and maintain electronic case files and documentation.
• Client Interaction: Respond to inquiries from and interact with customers, clients, counsel, and witnesses.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or Equivalent with 4 or more years of experience in the Legal Support area, OR an Associate Degree with 2 or more years of experience in the Legal Support area.
• Experience: Experience conducting electronic database research, drafting legal documents, correspondence, and/or pleadings, and general legal support experience.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree, E-Filing Experience, Insurance Defense experience, the ability to effectively conduct electronic database research including Lexus Nexis, Certified Paralegal (CP), or Professional Paralegal (PP).
