What You’ll Actually Do
• Support client analysis: Assist Strategists by analyzing client portfolios and creating presentations that convey PIMCO’s insights and conclusions.
• Perform analytical tasks: Utilize proprietary software and external data sources to run risk analytics, optimizations, economic scenario analyses, and stress tests.
• Manage projects: Oversee multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met effectively.
• Update materials: Periodically revise and maintain standard presentation materials for accuracy.
• Build expertise: Cultivate an understanding of PIMCO’s investment strategies, including their risks and benefits across various market environments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor Degree. Entry-Level. Four-year college degree with a major in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or applied science.
• Experience: 0-2 years of internship or professional experience required, with a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to clearly communicate complex ideas; excellent verbal and written communication skills; results-orientation with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Bonus: Interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance; desire to join a high performance culture.
