This position plays a critical role in evaluating land acquisition and development opportunities by leading financial modeling, cost analysis, strategic analysis, and market research. This ensures land-related investments are accurately assessed, aligned with strategic goals, and executed with financial discipline. The Land Analyst is a key connector between land operations and financial oversight within the LEAD team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to evaluate land investments and develop partnerships.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze development budgets and actual costs to ensure alignment with financial expectations.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor tracking to inform land strategy and pricing.
• Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence activities and summarize key risks and findings for leadership.
• System Management: Maintain internal land tracking systems and support improvements to land portfolio tools.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Foundational understanding of financial analysis and modeling principles, with no prior land or real estate experience required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling across multiple projects or roles, including Excel-based modeling, scenario analysis, and presenting financial insights to decision makers.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
