What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive financial management strategies to support science and technology portfolios.
• Funding: Develop actionable plans with project management and task leads to secure necessary funding for client goals.
• Compliance: Guide clients in developing well-formed requirements, adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Oversight: Track funding utilization and communicate consistently with project management and task leads to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Expertise: Contribute financial analysis expertise to your team while working on high-level technology development initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a High School diploma or GED, along with 2+ years of experience in project management, contract management, financial management, or budgeting.
• Experience: Possess direct experience working with SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system, and with commercial software, financial databases, or web/database applications including Microsoft Office and MS Excel. A Secret clearance is required.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong ability to communicate complex issues both orally and in writing, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, and organize, coordinate, and conduct meetings.
• Bonus: Experience with ONR financial processes, procedures, and systems (including Navy ERP), experience managing technology programs, knowledge of S&T portfolios, and a Bachelor’s degree are beneficial.
