This Presuit Secretary position is entry-level and is vital for managing the firm’s day-to-day operations by carrying out essential administrative services and providing direct support to the legal team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• File Management: Assist case managers and attorneys by organizing, filing, and maintaining client files, which can include managing over 100 cases.
• Record Collection: Collect check requests for essential documents such as medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership information, then submit them for processing.
• Document Preparation: Copy various documents, prepare and send demand packages, and complete certified mail cards to dispatch documents and cost checks as requested.
• Client Communication: Prepare and send important client correspondence, including turndown letters, no representation letters, contracts, and multi-party combo letters, as well as sending out demand letters.
• General Office Support: Perform a range of general office duties such as typing, operating necessary office machines, and sorting incoming mail efficiently.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Possess knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, including proficiency in word processing, managing files and records, and other standard office procedures.
• Experience: Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to type no less than 35 words per minute.
• Skills: Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, manage a demanding workload with a positive attitude, and work with minimal supervision. Exhibit great written and communication skills, alongside being highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience; Bilingual in English and Spanish; 1 year of experience in the legal field.
