What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Assistance: Actively assist with the preparation and submission of Guardianship applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Case Management: Provide comprehensive support in all aspects of legal case preparation and ongoing case management from inception to conclusion.
• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, demonstrating an interest in refining legal writing skills and adhering to best practices.
• Client Communication: Engage professionally with clients and other stakeholders, comfortably handling phone communications to gather information and provide updates.
• Operational Support: Maintain highly organized case files and administrative processes, contributing to an efficient legal support environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a Bachelor’s degree in any field. This educational foundation should ideally be coupled with a strong interest in legal processes and client support.
• Experience: Proven legal experience is required, specifically in preparing Guardianship applications. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Skills:
• Organizational Acumen: Exhibit strong organizational skills, including the ability to meticulously manage and prioritize multiple projects with accuracy, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
