Financial Analyst | Newmark

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Newmark, a 7,235-person organization, joining its Capital Markets team. The Financial Analyst will play an integral part in providing insightful financial evaluations and strategic recommendations. This position directly supports Newmark’s Office and Capital Markets platform by delivering critical financial analysis and contributing to key business decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis & Modeling: Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling using Argus and Excel.
• Property Evaluation: Evaluate and analyze office and commercial real estate properties and portfolios.
• Documentation Support: Assist in producing offering memorandums, broker opinions of value, and compile rent and sale comparable.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations.
• Market Monitoring: Monitor market trends and perform risk assessments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other related fields. This is an early career level role.
• Experience: Some experience in financial analysis; proficiency in Argus and Excel; ability to travel a minimum of 10-20%.
• Skills: Proficiency in detailed financial analysis and modeling using Argus and Excel; ability to evaluate and analyze office and commercial real estate properties; capacity to prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations. Strong problem-solving skills with independent judgment, high initiative, and accuracy. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks on schedule, working productively under minimal supervision in deadline-driven environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Bonus: GSE Experience a plus.
