Vice President, Middle Market Beverage M&A | BMO U.S.

This is a full-time, salaried role at BMO U.S. BMO provides deep industry sector expertise, innovative thinking, and world-class execution across a full suite of Capital Markets products to clients. This role is critical in driving sector penetration and returns through an integrated platform, collaborating to deliver creative, client-focused M&A solutions for middle market beverage companies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Execution: Operate as a key member of the deal team, contributing to sector penetration and maximizing returns for clients.
• Client Solutions: Create and present pitch books with financial solutions, providing relevant ideas and opinions to generate recommendations for current and prospective clients.
• Due Diligence & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive due diligence including client visits, analyzing business models, industry trends, and related regulations for private and middle market companies.
• Relationship Management: Directly manage a diverse portfolio of client relationships, monitoring performance, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring alignment of products/services with client needs.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to analyze client portfolios, anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and support strategic recommendations to clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree, with focal areas in finance, economics, or accounting preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, negotiating, and structuring financial transactions, including corporate lending business development. Typically between 5-7 years of overall relevant experience.
• Skills: Advanced deal execution and/or project management, strong market knowledge, financial modeling, in-depth verbal & written communication, analytical and problem-solving, collaboration, influence, data-driven decision making.
• Bonus: MBA, CFA or equivalent experience in financial services, accounting, or legal fields; relevant business services sector experience is highly desired.
