The Tone:
This is a permanent (contingency) role at Atlantic Group for their client, a boutique investment banking firm located in Montgomery County, PA. This position is crucial for supporting transaction execution, financial modeling, and client advisory within a specialized financial environment. The Investment Banking Analyst will play a direct role in deal execution, gaining strong exposure to active transactions and working closely with senior leadership. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build detailed financial models, including comprehensive three-statement models, leveraged buyout models, and transaction analyses, to support various deal stages.
• Valuation Analysis: Perform rigorous comparable company analyses, precedent transaction analyses, and discounted cash flow models to determine fair market valuations for M&A targets.
• Deal Execution: Support end-to-end M&A transactions, from initial due diligence and strategic analysis through negotiation, closing, and subsequent post-deal support.
• Client Materials: Prepare compelling presentations, detailed reports, offering memorandums, and other transaction-related materials for internal and external client communication.
• Research: Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company-specific research to inform strategic recommendations and support various engagement activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Candidates must possess a fundamental understanding of M&A processes, financial modeling, and various valuation methodologies.
• Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of prior experience in investment banking, transaction services, or a closely related financial field is essential for this role.
• Skills: Required technical skills include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with strong financial modeling capabilities. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
