This Associate position is essential for supporting Senior Bankers within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Corporate Coverage team. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Support Senior Bankers in their regular marketing and client calling programs.
• Content Development: Lead the development of pitch book content in close coordination with product teams.
• Financial Modeling: Prepare projection models and design capital structure recommendations for clients.
• Sector Expertise: Cultivate TMT sectorial expertise and serve as an internal thought leadership resource for BNP Paribas globally.
• Client Administration: Manage all client matters related to KYC, due diligence, and Compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration, OR a Master’s degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in one of these fields. This is an Associate-level professional role.
• Experience: Four years of experience in Investment Banking or the Technology & Telecom Sector is required with a Bachelor’s degree, or two years of such experience with a Master’s degree. This includes two years of experience preparing complex financial models (e.g., comp set analysis, DCF model) using CapitalIQ and Microsoft Excel, and leading/supporting the execution and origination of capital markets transactions. Additionally, one year of experience conducting in-depth financial analysis on TMT clients’ financial statements to assess valuation drivers and capital allocation strategy using CapitalIQ and Microsoft Excel is required, along with leading internal audits of various verticals and assessing financial statements across TMT clients.
• Skills: Financial Modeling (CapitalIQ, Microsoft Excel), Equity Capital Markets origination and execution, Financial Analysis, Accounting, and FINRA Series 79, Series 63, and SIE registrations.
