What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Leadership: Lead M&A advisory activities across the transportation and logistics sector throughout all phases of the deal lifecycle, from pitch through closing.
• Financial Oversight: Serve as a senior leader on transaction teams, overseeing the integrity of valuation analyses and complex financial models developed with Analysts and Associates.
• Client Management: Manage client communications and cultivate client relationships in partnership with senior bankers, identifying data trends and articulating their impact.
• Team Development: Oversee and mentor Analysts and Associates on active transactions, balancing delegation with collaboration to maximize their professional development.
• Business Development: Actively participate in new business development efforts, client presentations, junior banker training programs, and firm-wide initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required; Must have current authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship for employment visas or STEM OPT provided); 8+ years of industry-relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
• Skills: Proven ability to manage complex financial analyses and valuation methodologies; Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications: Must obtain FINRA licensing (SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63) within 90 days of hire.
• Bonus: Advanced degree or certifications preferred; Willingness to travel as needed.
