Director of Corporate Development (M&A) | Confidential

The Tone:
This is a full-time Director role with a flexible work arrangement, working on behalf of a high-growth and enterprise organization. The client is focused on scaling through strategic acquisitions, identifying and integrating new ventures into its operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a well-resourced leadership team and make an outsized, measurable impact on the company’s strategic growth from day one by owning the end-to-end M&A process.

• Mission: Own the M&A pipeline and execution end to end, driving the company’s next stage of scale through strategic acquisitions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• M&A Pipeline: Own the M&A pipeline — sourcing, screening, and prioritizing targets.
• Deal Execution: Lead diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
• Financial Analysis: Build valuation models and investment cases for the board.
• Integration: Partner on post-merger integration planning and value capture.
• Strategy Alignment: Align the deal thesis with corporate strategy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s in finance or a related field, with a focus on corporate development, investment banking, or private equity. An MBA is a plus.
• Experience: 8+ years in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, with a proven track record of M&A execution across the entire deal lifecycle.
• Skills: Advanced valuation and financial modeling; experience leading cross-functional diligence efforts; strong deal-structuring, negotiation, and strategic alignment skills.
• Bonus: Experience in post-merger integration, deal experience within the client’s specific markets, a background from top-tier banking or private equity firms, and a track record of high-volume deal execution.
