The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PKF O’Connor Davies, located in Connecticut or Southeast Florida. PKF O’Connor Davies is a full-service certified public accounting and advisory firm with over 1,900 professionals, which includes its M&A advisory affiliate, PKF Investment Banking. The firm provides accounting, auditing, tax, and management advisory services, with the investment banking arm focused on delivering high-level M&A advisory to privately held family- and founder-owned companies with revenue between $15 million and $350 million. This position offers a high degree of autonomy for a senior banker who can significantly impact the firm’s expansion and success through client development, transaction leadership, and relationship-driven advisory work.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Originate & Execute: Originate and execute sell-side and strategic M&A transactions for privately owned companies.
• Advise: Serve as a trusted advisor to founders, entrepreneurs, and family-owned businesses.
• Lead Teams: Lead transaction teams through all phases of the M&A process.
• Build Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term senior-level client relationships.
• Drive Growth: Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth strategies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 15 years of investment banking experience focused on middle market M&A.
• Experience: Demonstrated success in transaction origination and execution, complemented by an established business community network.
• Skills: Strong leadership, judgment, and client management capabilities, an entrepreneurial mindset for independent operation, and current Series 63 and 79 licenses.
• Bonus: MBA or equivalent preferred.
