Case Manager | MLG Attorneys at Law

What You’ll Actually Do
• Calendar Management: Oversee all calendar deadlines and coordinate deposition scheduling for the litigation team.
• Database Management: Assist the litigation team in designing, implementing, and maintaining litigation databases to support ongoing cases.
• Document Serving and Filing: Serve pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and document demands, and accurately file documents with the appropriate courts.
• Client and Expert Coordination: Manage new client questionnaires, prepare correspondence and “care packages,” and facilitate document exchanges with expert witnesses.
• Records and Lien Management: Negotiate medical liens and contact relevant parties to obtain health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical provider documents.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree. An experienced professional level with core domain knowledge in legal case management.
• Experience: 4+ years of related experience in a legal or similar professional environment.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: An investigative mind, strong research skills, working knowledge of legal database software, experience in preparing legal reports, and a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
