Onsite Document Review Specialist | McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLP
The Tone:
This is a fully remote position at McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLP. This role is critical for the firm’s legal, compliance, and operational review processes. This specialist ensures all documentation is accurate, compliant, and relevant, playing a key part in identifying essential evidence and protecting sensitive information for court and regulatory needs.

• Mission: To ensure the firm’s legal documents are accurate, compliant, and relevant for litigation and regulatory purposes, identifying key evidence, sensitive information, and maintaining proper documentation.
• Tech Stack: BKFS/LPS desktop, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, e-discovery software, multiple internal computer systems, legal client systems
What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Analysis: Review large volumes of documents, including emails, contracts, and discovery materials, for relevance, privilege, confidentiality, and compliance with legal standards.
• Database Management: Prepare and maintain document databases, tracking systems, and metadata to ensure efficient retrieval and review processes.
• Litigation Support: Assist legal teams by organizing and summarizing relevant information for the preparation of legal briefs, discovery requests, and depositions.
• Information Protection: Identify and redact sensitive or privileged information to protect client confidentiality and meet all legal requirements.
• Reporting & Liaison: Compile detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations, and liaise with legal teams and other departments to resolve discrepancies and clarify requirements.
• E-discovery Utilization: Use e-discovery software to effectively filter, search, and categorize documents, applying search terms to locate pertinent information.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or Equivalent required, with core domain knowledge from working in a mortgage foreclosure servicer environment.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a mortgage foreclosure servicer environment.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in BKFS/LPS desktop, skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, extreme attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, and aptitude to quickly learn and navigate legal client systems.
