This is a full-time, on-site Law Clerk position at Denago EV, located in Plano, TX. What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Research and Analysis: Assist with legal research and the analysis of statutes and regulations to support legal and compliance initiatives.
• Document Preparation: Draft and review contracts, other legal documents, and prepare memoranda.
• File Management: Organize and maintain legal files and help prepare documentation for internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor regulatory developments relevant to electric vehicles and advanced golf cart technologies.
• Internal Coordination: Coordinate communication between the legal function and other departments to ensure alignment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrollment in or completion of a law degree or paralegal certification, or equivalent legal training, with a strong foundation in law, including knowledge of contracts, corporate, and regulatory matters relevant to manufacturing or transportation.
• Experience: Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and formatting agreements, policies, and correspondence. No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Excellent research and writing skills for analyzing legal issues, preparing clear memoranda, and summarizing complex information; effective communication abilities to present findings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and interact with external counsel; strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Bonus: Interest in sustainable transportation, electric vehicles, or technology-driven industries.
