Legal Assistant | Law Office of Dino Di Rienzo, P.C.

The Tone:
This is a part-time, in-person role at the Law Office of Dino Di Rienzo, P.C., located in Massapequa, New York, requiring a commitment of 3-4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The firm is a reputable No Fault law office specializing in arbitration hearing preparations, providing critical legal services to its clients. This position is vital for supporting the legal team by ensuring all necessary documentation and data are meticulously managed and prepared for upcoming arbitration proceedings. The Legal Assistant plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of the office’s case management process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case & Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain comprehensive client files, including efficiently processing all incoming cases and meticulously recording detailed information for legal proceedings.
• Arbitration Coordination: Accurately complete and file all necessary forms directly with the American Arbitration Association, ensuring compliance and timely submission for arbitration hearings.
• Data Entry & Analysis: Systematically input critical data from the American Arbitration Association website, maintain and update client-specific Excel sheets, and thoroughly analyze documents received from insurance carriers.
• Billing Assistance: Provide dedicated assistance with various aspects of medical billing processes, supporting the financial administration of client cases.
• Correspondence & Clerical Support: Generate essential legal documents such as cover letters and proof of mailing, and perform additional clerical duties, including file organization and scanning, as required by the attorneys to maintain office efficiency.

• Background: This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals who are highly driven, extremely organized, and possess a strong ability to meet deadlines efficiently and on time within a professional legal environment.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required, as comprehensive paid training will be provided to the selected candidate. Previous legal experience is preferred but not a mandatory prerequisite for this role.
• Skills: Candidates must demonstrate excellent typing and computer proficiency, strong attention to detail in all tasks, and a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Experience working in the legal field is considered a significant advantage for applicants.
