Case Administrator | American Arbitration Association
The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at the American Arbitration Association, available across various U.S. locations within 125 miles of an assigned office. The American Arbitration Association is a recognized leader in arbitration and mediation, providing essential services across diverse industries. This role is crucial for managing the day-to-day operations of legal cases, ensuring smooth processes and accurate record-keeping for all parties involved in alternative dispute resolution. The Case Administrator supports the core mission of resolving disputes efficiently and fairly.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Manage arbitration and mediation cases across a wide range of industries, overseeing their progression from initiation to completion.
• System Administration: Handle day-to-day case administration through our proprietary case management system, PRISM, maintaining accurate records.
• Stakeholder Communication: Correspond effectively with parties, attorneys, and neutrals, providing necessary updates and facilitating communication.
• Process Oversight: Ensure accurate scheduling, documentation, and billing processes are followed for all assigned cases.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum three years of experience in customer service, case administration, or legal environments.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis), comfort with web-based systems, adaptability to new technologies including AI-related tools, exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
