The Tone:

Farah & Farah is a dedicated legal firm specializing in personal injury cases, committed to vigorously representing clients through all stages of the litigation process. This paralegal position is crucial for providing comprehensive support to our legal team, ensuring that every client receives effective and thorough representation. The paralegal will play a pivotal role in managing critical case details and meticulously preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and post-trial activities.
• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Case Management: File and manage legal documents in court, ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines, and maintain updated case management systems.
• Evidence Gathering: Conduct legal research and gather evidence, including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements, to support case strategies.
• Client & Witness Coordination: Coordinate with clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses to obtain necessary information and documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven experience as a paralegal in personal injury litigation. This includes a strong understanding of personal injury law and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, coupled with knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures.
• Experience: Proficiency in legal research and writing, with demonstrated experience drafting legal documents and pleadings. Requires practical experience using case management software, legal research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite effectively.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, including outstanding time-management and typing skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential for handling case-related documents and information. Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for professional interaction with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality under pressure.
