• Mission: This role is centered on meticulously managing complex litigation matters from their inception through trial preparation, providing critical support to attorneys and ensuring exceptional service for clients, particularly those who are Spanish-speaking.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Efficiently oversee and meticulously manage all aspects of litigation matters, guiding them smoothly from the initial intake process right through to comprehensive trial preparation.
• Attorney Partnership: Cultivate a close working relationship with attorneys, providing indispensable support and collaboration on complex, high-stakes legal cases to ensure their successful resolution.
• Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, communicating effectively and providing exceptional, empathetic support throughout every stage of their legal process.
• Process Efficiency: Proactively ensure that all cases maintain momentum, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency, meticulous organization, and unwavering attention to detail in all tasks.
• Team Contribution: Actively engage and contribute to fostering a positive, cohesive, and team-oriented work environment, where collective effort is paramount to achieving the best possible outcomes for all clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A mid-level career professional bringing a solid and comprehensive foundation in litigation paralegal work, adept at navigating the intricacies of legal support roles.
• Experience: Possesses a minimum of three years of direct, hands-on experience specifically as a Litigation Paralegal, managing diverse legal matters.
• Skills: Requires proven bilingual proficiency in Spanish to effectively communicate with clients; demonstrates exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities to manage multiple demanding priorities; exhibits a proactive, resourceful approach, with the ability to thrive and adapt effectively in a demanding legal environment.
• Bonus: Prior professional experience in either Personal Injury or Employment Law is preferred; a genuine enjoyment for building and nurturing strong, meaningful relationships with both clients and internal team members is highly valued for this collaborative role.
