What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Management: Provide essential support for the company’s daily and weekly cash management activities, ensuring efficient liquidity and operational solvency. This includes assisting with transactions, reconciliations, and overall cash positioning to meet immediate financial obligations.
• Debt Management and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive reporting and analysis related to the company’s debt management activities. This involves utilizing pre-built financial reports to consistently assess month-over-month debt performance and identify key trends.
• Credit Agreement Compliance: Meticulously review and analyze credit agreements to ensure the company consistently adheres to all covenants, terms, and conditions, thereby maintaining financial compliance and mitigating risk.
• Rolling Cash Forecasting: Take responsibility for managing the entire rolling cash forecast process, from data collection to projection. Subsequently, report and analyze the resulting cash outcomes to management, providing insights into future liquidity positions.
• Long-Term Liquidity Modeling: Actively assist with the development and refinement of long-term liquidity models, contributing to strategic financial planning and ensuring the company’s sustained financial health over extended periods.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field. This academic foundation is critical for understanding the financial principles underpinning the Treasury Analyst role, positioning it as an early career opportunity.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required. This experience should ideally come from either a corporate treasury department, a corporate accounting function, or a banking environment, providing practical exposure to financial operations.
• Skills: Core competencies for this role include proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, which is essential for data analysis and reporting.
