Hubbell Rotation Program – Finance | Hubbell Incorporated

This is an early career, full-time role within Hubbell’s Finance division, designed as a three-year rotation program for new college graduates. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Drive and support strategic and long-term financial planning, including comprehensive forecasting activities for the annual operating plan. Perform detailed monthly variance analysis to understand performance drivers and prepare financial reports and presentations communicating results.
• Controllership & Compliance: Support monthly and quarterly closing activities by executing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Ensure strict adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and generally accepted accounting principles, actively working with teams to drive control improvements.
• Operations & Performance Insight: Act as a liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Hubbell’s Operations teams. Support reporting and in-depth analysis of key monthly manufacturing and cost accounting metrics, driving actionable insights from examination of performance trends.
• Corporate Development & Valuation: Support M&A activities and potential divestitures, assisting with critical financial modeling and due diligence processes. Research potential markets and acquisition targets to determine their value and strategic fit within Hubbell’s portfolio.
• Investor & Stakeholder Relations: Prepare comprehensive presentations for earnings releases, board meetings, company events, and conferences. Monitor financial markets and peer performance, research industry trends, and support communication strategies to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: Entry-level professional (0-2 years) with demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive successful outcomes.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities; versatility, flexibility, and adaptability to evolving priorities; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
