This is a 100% in-office role for a Financial Analyst, located in Central Dallas, TX. The position is with Search Finance, Inc., representing a well-established Dallas family office that manages significant investments, primarily within the energy industry. This newly created role reports directly to the CFO and offers exceptional visibility across a diverse portfolio of operating companies. • Mission: This person will build and maintain crucial financial models, analyze performance, and support strategic decision-making for a portfolio of operating companies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain essential financial models to support various analytical needs.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance, forecasts, and budgets across the investment portfolio.
• Leadership Partnership: Partner with leadership teams across multiple operating companies to provide financial insights.
• Strategic Support: Support acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and special projects.
• Presentation Preparation: Prepare financial analyses and presentations for management review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of finance or financial analysis experience.
• Skills: Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; professional communication and presentation skills.
• Bonus: Oil & gas experience is strongly preferred (internship experience considered); MBA preferred, but not required.
