What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Analysis & Market Intelligence: Support market scans and competitive assessments to develop insights that inform portfolio strategy and investment priorities.
• M&A Execution & Finance: Assist in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence across technical, commercial, and operational domains, supporting deal structuring.
• Capital Solutions: Evaluate financing solutions and deploy equity, debt, leases, and guarantees across the energy value chain for various investments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product lines, finance, legal, technology, and operations teams to align stakeholders on deal rationale, risks, and integration plans.
• Executive Communications: Prepare materials for senior leadership, translating complex analysis into crisp, actionable recommendations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate of the Baker Hughes ASPIRE program or an equivalent internal or external early-career candidate.
• Experience: Meaningful interest in strategy, M&A, or corporate finance; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with professionalism and composure.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, clear communication, collaborative teamwork, bias for action, comfort working in high-stakes environments.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields; strong financial modeling skills.
