Associate, Strategic Finance | Corpay

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Drive monthly and quarterly consolidated revenue and P&L analysis, including crafting the financial story, providing executive insights, and preparing monthly executive staff meeting materials.
• Reporting: Prepare quarterly executive reporting materials, which encompass consolidated forecasts, board presentations, earnings support, and guidance documents.
• Planning: Create models and executive outputs for annual budget and long-range planning processes, covering consolidation, scenario analysis, and executive presentations.
• Development: Develop new financial models and reporting tools, identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and the use of AI-driven tools to enhance analytics.
• Support: Partner across finance and functional teams to drive alignment, process improvement, and insights, while supporting ad hoc executive requests, M&A requests, and strategic projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years (ideally 5+ years) of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction diligence, strategy consulting, or corporate FP&A. At least one promotion in a prior role is preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical toolkit and problem-solving skills with demonstrated critical thinking; excellent written and verbal communication skills for crisp executive summaries; advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; expert financial knowledge including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Bonus: MBA or CFA is helpful but not required; experience working with large data sets and generating insights; a high-potential mindset with the ability to grow into leadership roles within Corporate FP&A.
