Individual Equity Strategy Intern (Summer 2027) | Corient
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Corient, located onsite in the US, with operations in states like Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York. Corient is a wealth management platform that helps high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families preserve their wealth for future generations. The intern will play a key role in supporting the investment platform, conducting essential research, and contributing to strategic investment decisions that help clients achieve their financial goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Analysis: Analyze, monitor, and report on potential new investment opportunities while conducting surveillance of current portfolio holdings.
• Portfolio Design: Design, analyze, and report on various model portfolios, including aspects of risk management.
• Security Research: Perform individual security analysis for both fixed income and equity instruments.
• Portfolio Construction: Construct portfolios by adhering to the specific guidelines and parameters outlined for each portfolio strategy.
• Communication & Reporting: Communicate research and strategy recommendations effectively to advisors and clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be a rising senior by the summer of 2027, currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated coursework or experience in finance, economics, or mathematics is required.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Bonus: Proficiency in other relevant financial software is a plus, and previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field is preferred.
