FOO Analyst, ETF & Index Equity NA | Invesco

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Invesco, located in Downers Grove, IL. This role is crucial for supporting Portfolio Managers in the daily implementation, execution, and monitoring of ETF and SMA index-based products. The position ensures portfolios effectively track associated indices, contributing to the firm’s client offerings and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Portfolio Rebalancing: Aid in the rebalance of portfolios as required to ensure funds track associated indices effectively and efficiently.
• Daily Monitoring: Monitor funds and indices daily to ensure execution of scheduled and non-scheduled events, including custom order activity, corporate actions, cash management, and rebalances.
• Exception Oversight: Oversee exception reporting to ensure funds meet their investment objectives.
• Project Support: Assist with projects related to new product launches, risk reduction, process improvements, and technology enhancements.
• Client Inquiry Support: Provide support for client inquiries from portfolio managers, capital markets, and other internal groups.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in a related field of study, with a good understanding of corporate actions and financial markets, and working knowledge of how an exchange-traded fund works.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of work experience in the financial services industry.
• Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong multitasking and follow-through capabilities, and acute attention to detail.
• Bonus: Knowledge of VBA, Python, or other related languages.
