Private Equity Associate | Osceola Capital

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Osceola Capital, located in Tampa, FL. Osceola Capital is a lower-middle market private equity firm that partners with high-quality businesses in fragmented services industries to support their growth into scaled institutional-grade platforms. This Associate position plays a critical role in all aspects of the investment process, from sourcing and due diligence to financial modeling and portfolio management. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals and leadership teams, contributing meaningfully to investment outcomes and value creation for management teams, business partners, and investors.

• Mission: This role is responsible for driving value creation across the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to portfolio management, within lower-middle market fragmented services industries.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Due Diligence: Conduct financial, operational, and market due diligence on potential investment targets.
• Financial Modeling: Build detailed financial models, including LBO and sensitivity analyses.
• Investment Reporting: Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Transaction Execution: Participate in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.
• Portfolio Support: Support portfolio companies in strategic initiatives, financial performance tracking, and board-level reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
• Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities; high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Bonus: MSF, MAcc or MBA is a plus.
