Financial Analyst | Lockheed Martin

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Lockheed Martin, located in Orlando, FL. Lockheed Martin is a global organization that develops aerospace, defense, and technology solutions, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation. This role is crucial for supporting the F-35 Development Team, ensuring financial data is accurately managed and analyzed. The Financial Analyst will contribute to the financial health and compliance of a significant program, providing vital guidance and support.

• Mission: This person will manage, analyze, and ensure compliance of Earned-Value Management and financial information for the F-35 Development Team.
• Tech Stack: MS Office, Excel, Pivot tables, lookups, graphs, SAP, Cobra, Hyperion

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: You will support the monthly F-35 Finance and Business Operations business rhythm.
• Guide: You will provide financial status and guidance to Cost Account Managers (CAMs).
• Ensure Compliance: You will ensure Earned-Value Management (EVM) and financial information is managed, analyzed, and compliant with the Program Performance Management Process (PPMP).
• Contribute: You will support quarterly Contracts Status Review (CSR) and Long Range Plan (LRP).
• Analyze: You will analyze data using advanced Excel skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience: Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills with attention to detail and reporting accuracy, and a quick learning aptitude for various systems and processes.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, lookups, and graphs, along with strong data analysis capabilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and their application, ability to provide sound data-driven analysis, and experience with SAP, Cobra, and Hyperion tools.
