Private Equity Associate | Atlantic Group

The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at Atlantic Group, located in Montgomery County, PA, recruiting for a client. The client is a private equity firm. This role is crucial for evaluating and executing investment opportunities, directly contributing to the firm’s growth and portfolio success by providing rigorous financial analysis and strategic insights. The Associate will collaborate with C-level executives and support key investment decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Execution: Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across multiple industries and business models.
• Financial Modeling & Due Diligence: Build detailed financial models and perform in-depth diligence to support critical investment decisions.
• Investment Committee Support: Prepare comprehensive investment memorandums and present analyses and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Portfolio Management: Work with C-level management teams to monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
• Market Research & Support: Conduct industry and competitive research, support valuation and LP communications, and assist with team mentoring and ad-hoc projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Prior experience in private equity or investment banking is considered ideal for this role.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, strong knowledge of finance and accounting, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: A proactive, team-oriented approach, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
