What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Sourcing & Execution: Actively source, thoroughly evaluate, and skillfully execute investment opportunities across both the growth equity and private equity landscape.
• Financial Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth financial modeling, detailed valuation analyses, and comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments to inform strategic decisions.
• Deal Negotiation & Closing: Partner directly with senior team members to structure, negotiate, and successfully close investment deals.
• Portfolio Value Creation: Monitor portfolio company performance diligently and contribute significantly to strategic initiatives aimed at driving operational improvement and value creation.
• Investment Committee Communication: Prepare and present compelling investment memoranda and clear recommendations to the investment committee.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a mid-level professional with a deep understanding of the entire investment process, from initial sourcing through exit strategies.
• Experience: Candidates must possess 4+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or top-tier management consulting, coupled with a strong track record in deal execution and investment analysis.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise; excellent communication and presentation abilities; strong stakeholder management skills; and a proven capability to lead projects independently within a collaborative team environment.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include sector experience in software, cybersecurity, and/or fintech companies; familiarity with portfolio management and value creation strategies; an established network of industry relationships for deal sourcing and diligence; and exposure to cross-border transactions or international investments.
