The Tone:
This is a full-time Corporate Finance Consultant role at Isagani Yorke Capital Partners, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with a hybrid work arrangement. The firm is a Dallas-based boutique M&A and financial advisory firm that delivers Wall Street-caliber expertise to lower middle market companies. This role is crucial for supporting client engagements by providing detailed financial analysis and strategic insights, helping businesses manage complexity, drive growth, and prepare for successful exits.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support client engagements by building and maintaining financial models.
• Prepare: Prepare budgets and forecasts for client engagements.
• Analyze: Analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Present: Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with Fractional Bookkeepers & Fractional Controllers to enhance Fractional CFO financial processes, improve reporting quality, and contribute to strategic recommendations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Strong foundation in corporate finance and understanding of GAAP-based accrual accounting.
• Experience: Ability to build and interpret three-statement financial models and forecasts. Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Demonstrated Analytical Skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Skills: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Bonus: Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or in progress). Experience with accounting or ERP systems. Prior experience in consumer product & retail companies, investment banking, transaction services, or corporate FP&A.
