ER&D Finance Analyst | Stellantis
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Stellantis, located in Auburn Hills, MI. Stellantis is a global automaker that designs, engineers, manufactures, and sells a wide range of vehicles, and this role directly supports the financial control of its Engineering, Research & Development (ER&D) programs. This position is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity, efficiency, and compliance of ER&D expenses, aligning operational needs with the company’s strategic objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Control: Support the monthly accounting closing by identifying key drivers impacting results.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, explaining variances and proposing corrective actions.
• Funding Management: Ensure proper funding for new program approvals within the SAP system, specifically managing Checkbook/WBS.
• Compliance & Validation: Validate purchasing requisitions to ensure adherence to company guidelines and support internal and external audits for compliance with accounting standards.
• Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve processes and automate tasks, focusing on productivity and data reliability.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with demonstrated experience in forecasting.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, ERP systems, and advanced English communication.
• Bonus: MBA or CPA certification, understanding of SAP software applications, experience with reporting databases (Onestream, HFM, Essbase), advanced PowerBI skills, and knowledge of the automotive industry.
