Intern, Digital Strategy | Delta Air Lines

What You’ll Actually Do
• Performance Analysis: Measure and analyze team performance, identifying patterns that require further investigation.
• Project Management: Implement project management skills and practices on various initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate professionally with various stakeholders across different business units.
• Workflow Improvement: Provide feedback to enhance team workflows and effectiveness, evaluating the impact of implemented changes.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Aviation Management, Operations Management, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Must be available for the entire internship program duration and enrolled in an accredited college or university. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and in basic data analytics.
• Skills: Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills. Ability to present professionally and communicate effectively with various levels of leadership. Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies, and a willingness to learn new skills. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles, and consistently prioritizes safety and security.
• Bonus: Ability to digest data and explain insights concisely to support decision-making. Comfortable working in both group and individual settings. A track record of seeking leadership roles in student and community organizations. Ability to develop effective presentations to explain background, analysis, results, and recommendations efficiently. A desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution, and an interest in learning more about the airline industry and Delta as a company.
